Henry’s first breath
“Can you make a dragon to sit on top of my smoker?” “Well, yes, I can!” And that’s how it began: the collaboration between Paul and me to create a ceramic dragon to breathe smoke as the meat inside the smoker becomes nice and tasty!
His name is Henry, and, yes, he breathes SMOKE from his perch on top of Paul’s meat smoker!
Handmade Stoneware Wall Plates
Special order for a new condo in Arizona. These are wall plaques for a special niche in that new condo. They will be displayed vertically, top to bottom as they appear here.
Being in the desert, I wanted these new owners to have a bit of ocean and sand and sea shells – to cool the place down! The middle plate is the smallest and plainest of the three: a relief for the eye, with just a swish of motion. Maybe cool sky, or river water.
